(June 7, 2005) * Tony Pedregon, the 2003 Funny Car champion, and his ŒQ¹ Racing Nitro Funny Car head to Route 66 Raceway this weekend for the 10th race of the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series schedule. The ŒQ¹ Racing team driver will participate in the eighth annual CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals. * Tony Pedregon, campeón de Funny Car del 2003, y su auto ŒQ¹ Racing Nitro Funny Car, se dirigen al Route 66 Raceway este fin de semana para la décima carrera de la NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series. Pedregon blasted the ŒQ¹ Racing car, tuned by Dickie Venables, to the quickest and fastest pass in NHRA Funny Car history with a 4.716 second run at 331.28 mph. So far, Pedregon has set the top-speed 25 times in his career. * Pedregon shares how he felt during that record setting pass. ³I knew ŒQ¹ had the power.
