Canadian Automotive Supplier Selects IFS Business Software for 20+ Sites Worldwide
CHICAGO, June 7 -- Continuing its momentum in the automotive industry, IFS announced today that Linamar Corp., the second largest automotive supplier based in Canada, has signed a multi-million dollar contract for IFS Applications(TM) business software and services. Initially, Linamar will implement IFS' automotive solution at more than 20 manufacturing plants in Guelph, Ontario. Later, the company will extend the IFS system to new sites in Germany, China and Korea.

The IFS automotive solution that Linamar will deploy includes supply chain management, financials, maintenance, engineering, quality management, and workforce management applications. It also includes a fully integrated electronic data interchange (EDI) solution together with a bar coding and labeling solution from Bar Code Solutions, Troy, Michigan.
