Marcos Engineering Appoints Chris Meakin as Chief Engineer

KENILWORTH, England, June 7 --

- Industry Veteran to Oversee All Aspects of Engineering

Marcos Engineering Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Meakin to Chief Engineer. Chris brings to Marcos over 15 years of "hands on" industry experience from Prodrive Motorsports, Jaguar and Cosworth.

At Marcos Chris will oversee all aspects of Engineering including CAD design, homologation, race program support, key component sourcing and the company's engineering programs with Prodrive. He will also continue with his specialty -- developing key performance drivetrain and fuel system components.

"His Engineering background in high performance road and race cars is an ideal fit for the company, and we have already put him straight to work on our upcoming GT2 roadcar."

Chris holds an HND in Mechanical Engineering and resides in Coventry with his wife and son.

Marcos is a leading developer of high performance sports cars and recently announced the 400 HP TSO GT in South Australia at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide motor race.
