NHRA XPLOD SPORT COMPACT SERIES GEARS UP FOR MOPAR MOUNTAIN MADNESS AT 
BANDIMERE

Center Line, Mich. - The mountains of Colorado will come alive this weekend 
with the sounds of the NHRA Xplod Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, as 
Bandimere Speedway hosts the second annual Mopar Mountain Madness event. Featuring the 
best of the best in sport compact racing, the event will feature the hottest 
teams on the tuner scene. The two-day event is slated to take place on June 
11-12. 

"Mopar is dedicated to expanding its unique motorsports programs across every 
available avenue, and this includes keeping a finger on the pulse of the 
sport compact drag racing scene," said Kevin Miller, Senior Manager, Brand 
Strategy and Performance Mopar Parts. "Working with a group of individuals such as 
those at Bandimere Speedway allows us to give competitors and race fans alike a 
first-class product. We're very pleased to come back to Bandimere as the 
sponsor of the second annual Mopar Mountain Madness event."

Mopar Mountain Madness returns to the mile-high city after an outstanding 
effort in 2004. This year's event will feature qualifying on Saturday, June 11, 
with additional qualifying rounds on June 12. Sunday's event finale will also 
feature elimination rounds for all divisions, as well as the definitive tuner 
scene car show and always popular bikini contest. 

Mopar's NHRA Sport Compact Drag Racing aces Shaun Carlson, Scott Mohler and 
Mike Crawford are all expected to compete. Mohler will defend his 2004 Mopar 
Mountain Madness title in the Pro All Motor division for Mohler Motorsports. 
Crawford will take on the Pro Hot Rod division for Darrell Cox Racing, and 
Carlson's NuFormz Racing will make a run at the Pro FWD division title for Team 
Mopar.
