Jeff Bell, Vice President of Chrysler and Jeep(R), to Speak at Motor Press Guild Monthly Meeting

This Advisory Is an Invitation to News Organizations to Send a Reporter and/or

Crew to Cover the Appearance of Jeff Bell, Vice President of Chrysler and
Jeep(R) at Chrysler Group, Who Will Be Addressing the Myths and Facts of
Diesel Technology, and the Potential of Biodiesel

   WHO
Jeff Bell, Vice President, Chrysler and Jeep(R) at Chrysler Group will
talk about the current state of diesel technology; describe the benefits,
potential market, and the challenges of convincing consumers to try the
   new advanced technology diesels.

Diesel-powered cars and light trucks make up less than 3% of the
U.S. passenger vehicle market, compared with Europe where diesel
passenger vehicle sales are approaching 50% of the market.

DaimlerChrysler is testing the U.S. consumer market with two new
products, the Mercedes-Benz E320 cdi launched in 2004, and the
new Jeep(R) Liberty CRD diesel. Even before production began, about
60,000 consumers expressed interest in the Liberty CRD; vehicles are
remaining on dealer lots for less than 15 days.

He will spend a few minutes describing the innovative program to fuel
each new Liberty CRD with 5% biodiesel, focusing attention on this
   promising clean, renewable fuel.
