J.B. Hunt Commits to Terion's FleetView 3 Trailer Management Solution and Deploys Tractor ID to Its Tractor Fleet

PLANO, Texas--June 2, 2005--Terion, the leading provider of trailer fleet management systems with over 85,000 devices installed, today announced that J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. has signed an agreement for the continued deployment of FleetView(R) 3 on its trailer fleets within the Truckload and Dedicated Contract Services operating segments. J.B. Hunt will continue to utilize the earlier generation FleetView 2.5 product and add FleetView 3 systems as needed to support its business expansion needs.

In addition, J.B. Hunt is currently installing Terion's Tractor ID(TM) product to its entire tractor fleet. Tractor ID utilizes Power Line Communications technology to identify the tractor hooked to any FleetView-equipped trailer. The FleetView unit can then report the tractor's identification code and fleet code based on configurable logic in the device. Tractor ID can also help identify when an unauthorized tractor hooks to a trailer based on the absence of an identifier.

The benefits delivered to J.B. Hunt with the implementation of Tractor ID are significant:

-- Validates the correct trailer number hooked to the tractor for optimal trailer pool management.

-- Minimizes expensive trailer misdirects by providing an alert when the wrong tractor is connected to the trailer.

-- Tightens management of trailers between divisional operating segments.

-- Reduces cargo theft and improves security by providing an alert when a trailer is connected to an unauthorized tractor.

"J.B. Hunt is continuously evaluating technology alternatives to ensure that we leverage the best solutions available to support our customers and company operations," stated Craig Harper, Chief Operations Officer of J.B. Hunt. "We confirmed that Terion continues to offer the best trailer management solution on the market with FleetView 3 and continues to focus on enhancing and expanding the value delivered by its solution as evidenced by their Tractor ID product."

"J.B. Hunt is one of the most successful carriers in the nation," said Ken Cranston, president and CEO of Terion. "Their on-going commitment to our technology underscores the fact that Terion continues to deliver to the needs of the transportation industry with the most advanced, proven, trailer management technology."

About FleetView 3

FleetView 3 provides a comprehensive trailer fleet management system that allows transportation companies to maximize efficiencies associated with trailer fleet operations by combining a high-bandwidth digital wireless path with intelligent messaging and sensor capabilities. Typical benefits associated with FleetView include an increase in trailer utilization and a reduced trailer-to-tractor ratio. Information is provided to the user over the Internet through Terion's patented hardware and software design. The design integrates GPS and digital CDMA cellular technology for comprehensive coverage throughout the United States and Canada.

FleetView 3 can be installed on dry vans, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. The product communicates real-time trailer location and event status when the trailer is tethered or untethered, including an accurate determination of loaded or unloaded status with FleetView's patented Cargo Sensor. Remote monitoring of the refrigerated trailer's microprocessor is also available with FleetView 3. The system uniquely supports over-the-air software downloads for software upgrades allowing for product enhancements without the time and expense associated with taking the trailer out of service.
