LOS ANGELES, June 1 -- Today, in recognition of National Cancer Survivor's Day (Sunday, June 5), the Southern California Chevrolet Dealers Association will launch "Driving Hope for Children with Cancer," a charitable initiative benefiting children and families of PADRES Contra El Cancer (parents against cancer). From June 1-30, thirteen (13) local Chevrolet dealers will donate $25.00 to PADRES for every new vehicle sale or lease. General Motors Corporation's Western Region will support this effort by matching dealers' contributions up to $25,000.
