RACE WEEK MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

 
MILWAUKEE (May 31, 2005) - Members of the media are welcome to cover the
following events related to this Saturday June 4 Champ Car World Series
"Time Warner Cable Road Runner 225 presented by U.S. Bank" and "ARCA
RE/MAX Series 150" auto races.
 
Wednesday, June 1
Champ Car Hauler parade, through downtown Milwaukee.
11:00am - 1:00pm
Route:  Depart Milwaukee Mile at 11:00am, east on I-94 into downtown.
Stop at U.S. Bank tower on East Wisconsin Ave.  Proceed north to Time
Warner Cable, 1320 N Martin Luther King Dr.  Route moves west on
Wisconsin Avenue back to Milwaukee Mile infield.  Approx. arrival
1:00pm.
 
Thursday, June 2
MEDIA LUNCH WITH CHAMP CAR DRIVERS
11:30am - 1:15pm, MUST RSVP TO JIM TRETOW
Join Champ Car drivers for lunch in the Milwaukee Mile infield media
center.  One-on-ones with:
-Paul Tracy (leads active Champ Car drivers with 3 Milwaukee Mile wins,
2003 series champ)
-Ryan Hunter-Reay (defending 'Mile event winner, led record-setting
flag-to-flag from pole in '04)
-A.J. Allmendinger (first top-5 Champ Car finish at 'Mile in '04.  2004
series Rookie of the Year)
-Cristiano da Matta (2001 series champ returns to PKV Racing, teamed
with Jimmy Vasser)
