LEWIS TAKES "NIGHT BEFORE 500"

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MAY 30, 2005

MIDGETS EYE "BUCKEYE NATIONALS" JUNE 17-18
BEACH #1 IN "VOGLER CLASSIC," LEWIS TAKES "NIGHT BEFORE 500"

Josh Wise of Riverside, Calif. leads the USAC National Midget
Car series into the June 17-18 "Buckeye Nationals" events at Lima and
Rossburg, Ohio after scoring "top-five" finishes in two "traditional"
events last week in Indiana.

Teddy Beach of Donnelsville, Ohio won Thursday night's 100-lap
"Vogler Classic" feature at the Blossom Chevrolet Indianapolis Speedrome,
leading the final 58 laps in his Beach Mfg. Company/Weld Wheels
Beast/Mopar. Michael Lewis led the first 42 laps before a tangle forced him
out of the race. Dave Steele, Bobby East, Billy Wease and Wise rounded out
the "top-five."

Lewis came back to take Saturday night's 60th Coca-Cola "Night
Before the 500" Classic at Indianapolis Raceway Park in his CMK
Xtreme.com/Wirtgen America Gerhardt/Esslinger. He caught defending race
champion Ron Gregory on the final lap to post the victory over Gregory,
Jerry Coons, Jr., Wise and Tom Hessert III. Coons led the first 28 laps
before Gregory moved to the front.

Wise has a 48-point lead over Beach following the two Indiana
races.
