CAROLINA/VIRGINIA FOCUS COMPETITORS RETURN TO ACTION SATURDAY AT SOBO


With almost a month since their last feature race, USAC Carolina/Virginia
Midget Car Series competitors gear up for their fourth race Saturday at
South Boston (Va.) Speedway, which has hosted two of the series’ third
events this season.

Chase Scott of Concord, N.C. has the upper hand in series competition this
season. Scott has won at SoBo and Hudson, N.C., and looks to extend his
series points lead after taking the advantage following the Hudson event.
A.J. Davis of Spartanburg, S.C. won the other event at SoBo.

Scott and brother Ryan haven’t strayed far from racing. The two competed
with the Midwest Ford Focus Midget Car Series on May 20 at Limaland
Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio.
