SEWELL WINS FIRST OKLAHOMA FOCUS FEATURE

Evan Sewell of Tulsa, Okla. earned his first USAC Oklahoma Ford Focus Midget
Car Series victory Saturday at the Tulsa Speedway, moving to within nine
points of the series point lead.

Sewell, in the No. 31 Amsoil/Broken Arrow Powder Coating Stealth/Ford Focus,
led all but the opening two laps of the 15-lapper on the 3/8-mile track
after charging past early leader Chett Gehrke. Jasiel Randolph finished
second, while Matt Johnson, Gehrke and Dustin Morgan rounded out the Top 5.

Randolph leaped ahead of Morgan in the point standings, and now leads the
teenager by two markers heading into the June 18 race at the track. Randolph
and Morgan were fresh off trips to the Midwest, having made stops at
Anderson, Ind. and Indianapolis for pavement track time.
