Vincec leads the way in the second round of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting 
Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels!
Junior star, Mike Vincec takes two wins and GM Racing Award at Sutton

SUTTON, ONTARIO  3-S Go Karts hosted round two of the Sunoco Ron Fellows 
Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels this past weekend. 
Over 200 of Canada best karters showed up for the challenge, and it was 
Cameron Motorsports' Mike Vincec making the most of the weekend. Vincec won 
the Saturday headline class, Formula Junior, then went on to win RotaxMax 
Jr. later in the day, and take home the Sunday GM Racing award.

On Sunday, the headline class, Formula Senior was a battle to the final 
flag. Pfaff Fast Qualifier, Cameron Motorsports' Robert Wickens hounded 
leader, First Kart's Daniel Morad for the entire distance, and the two 
swapped the lead twice with just two laps to go. Morad held on for his 
second consecutive Formula Senior win, with Wickens second. Rounding out 
the Formula Senior podium was First Kart's Trevor Daley.

Other Saturday winners were Anthony Furfari in Canada Junior Light, Dylan 
Gibson in World Formula Junior and Aaron de Heus.

Sunday winners included Zach Boam in World Formula Senior, who took his 
first win in the series, and Kyle Herder, who dominated in Rotax Max Senior.

The Pratt & Miller Team Spirit award which is awarded to the team that 
exhibits the highest levels of teamwork in the areas of presentation, 
preparation and results, went to Gold Kart, who had five drivers on the 
podium during the weekend.

GM Racing awards for outstanding skills went to Cameron Motorsports' Mike 
Vincec on Saturday, and Sodi Kart's Greg Rempel on Sunday.


The objective of the SRFKC is to help foster a professional environment for 
kart drivers; help create a positive attitude towards appearance, conduct 
and discipline; help foster the employment of the best practices for the 
safe and fair running of competitions; and help kart drivers to move up the 
racing ladder to automobile racing.
