Mazda to Launch MX-Crossport Concept Car in North America

Tokyo May 27, 2005;(JCNN) - Mazda North American Operations announced on May 26 that the MX-Crossport concept car will formally move from a concept to production vehicle.

The car will be named Mazda CX-7 and launched first in North America in 2006.

The car will be based on the Mazda MX-Crossport, a concept vehicle exhibited at the 2005 North American International Auto Show held in Detroit this January.
