GREENSBORO, Ala.--May 27, 2005--American Pride Seafoods "Pride Ride" catfish car is joining Disney's famous "Herbie the Love Bug" Volkswagen for the "Herbie & Friends Cruise Across America" tour.

"HERBIE AND FRIENDS CRUISE ACROSS AMERICA," presented by Airhead Parts, runs May 13 through June 12 with stops throughout the country where Herbie fans and VW enthusiasts can take part in a traveling Classic Car Show. The Karmann Ghia Club of North America is celebrating its 50th anniversary by hosting a cross-country cruise, which started Friday, May 13, in California. Herbie, the four-wheeled star of Walt Disney Pictures' new comedy, "Herbie: Fully Loaded," is leading the caravan on a 31-day journey making appearances in 60 different cities across 19 states.

American Pride Seafoods will send the Pride Ride, a uniquely customized Volkswagen bug that resembles a giant catfish, to join Herbie and promote its four Disney seafood products: Pirate Planks(TM), featuring Peter Pan and Tinker Bell; Cheddar Treasures(TM), featuring Mickey Mouse; Dip Sea Dooz(TM), featuring Little Mermaid; and Pizza Fins(TM), featuring Lilo & Stitch, along with U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish.

As Herbie and friends make their way back to California with a cruise through the South, the Pride Ride will accompany the caravan from Atlanta May 31, 2005 to New Orleans June 4.
