TOPIC: The Road Information Program conducted a study showing major roads in U.S. urban areas continue to deteriorate, according to an article by USAToday.com. More than 26% of roads in major metropolitan areas are considered to be in poor condition, which is an increase from 22% in 1998. The study shows Atlanta has the best roads with 84% deemed in good condition, while Kansas City, Mo., has the worst roads with 71% regarded as substandard.
