Fitch Teleconference on GM Replay Available

CHICAGO--May 25, 2005--Fitch Ratings hosted a teleconference on May 24 to discuss Fitch's downgrade of General Motors (GM) and General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC). Fitch downgraded GM and GMAC to 'BB+' from 'BBB-' with a Negative Outlook. The call was led by Mark Oline, Managing Director, Fitch Ratings Corporate Finance. A Q&A session followed some opening remarks. Chris Wolfe and Jim Moss of Fitch's Financial Institutions team also participated.
