Lebanon Valley Gears up for Memorial Day Weekend Spectacular! By Rodney Rescott – May 23, 2005: Lebanon Valley Speedway is prepared to offer up a weekend spectacular that includes two nights of dirt racing action. On Saturday May 28th, 2005, the speedway starts the Weekend off with a full schedule of events, featuring the Wastequip Confab and Speed’s Garage Modified Family Feud. The Memorial Weekend Special includes a regular card of Pure Stocks, Rookies, Pro Stocks, Sportsman, and Big Block Modifieds to satisfy you need for speed. Also on tap is the addition of the Modified Family Feud; that is made up of two teams of your top Lebanon Valley Dirt Modified Stars going head to head, and the best team finish, wins! Gates open at 5:00pm, and racing starts at 6:00pm. And then, The Greatest Show on DIRT returns to the Valley on Memorial Day. CARQUEST® presents the WORLD OF OUTLAWS SPRINT CAR SERIES®, Monday May 30th, 2005. The cars and stars of the famed WoO Sprints will be on hand, including the “Mean 15�??. Sammy Swindell, Steve Kinser, Craig Dollansky, Jason Meyers, Kraig Kinser, Donny Schatz, and Danny Lasoski lead the stars to a Showdown at the “Valley of Speed�??. The Dirt Big Block Modifieds will also be on hand. Gates open at 5:00 pm, Time Trials for the Sprints start at 6:00 pm, with Heats starting beginning at 7:00 pm.
