Corinthian Colleges Names George P. Arrants Vice President of Industry Relations for Titan Division

SANTA ANA, Calif., May 24, 2005 -- Corinthian Colleges, Inc. has appointed George P. Arrants as vice president of industry relations for the company's Titan Schools (TSi) Division, which offers associate degrees and diploma programs in the fields of automotive, diesel, motorcycle, marine and aviation maintenance technology.

"We are fortunate that George has joined our team, bringing exceptional experience in both the business and educational aspects of transportation repair and maintenance technology," said Timothy Schutz, president and chief operating officer of TSi. "George will lead our efforts to expand the relationships and strategic partnerships that TSi schools have with the transportation industry. We look forward to benefiting from George's expertise and insights as we provide our students with quality programs in highly specialized and practical fields."

Arrants, 47, has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, including serving on the board of trustees for the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). In addition, he served as the automotive chair of the strategic development committee which advised the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor. He joins TSi from Snap-on, Inc., where, as business and education partnership manager, he developed and nurtured partnerships between the industry and education. He also was Snap-on's liaison to Auto Youth Education Systems (AYES). Earlier in his career, Arrants served ten years as an automotive instructor at the secondary and post-secondary education levels.

Arrants holds a bachelor of arts degree in business management and marketing from Carthage College, Wisconsin.

Titan Schools, Inc. (TSi) encompasses Corinthian's technical division, offering associate's degrees and diploma programs to students primarily in the following disciplines: automotive, diesel, automotive collision, motorcycle, marine, and aviation technologies. Titan division schools also offer programs in computer technology and heating/ventilation/air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing. There are 15 schools in the TSi division, including WyoTech, NIT and AMI campuses.
