Federal-Mogul Receives First-Ever Polk Inventory Efficiency Award

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--May 23, 2005--Federal-Mogul Corporation (OTCBB:FDMLQ), is the first-ever Manufacturer to receive the Inventory Efficiency Award from R. L. Polk & Co., for its Local Inventory Management system.

The Polk Inventory Efficiency Award recognizes and rewards outstanding aftermarket companies for process improvements that drive improved inventory efficiency. Jay Burkhart, vice president global marketing and brand strategy for Federal-Mogul accepted the award at the 2005 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium held in Chicago on May 11, 2005.
