Tony Pedregon Starts Columbus Weekend in 14th

HEBRON, Ohio. (May 20, 2005) ­ Tony Pedregon and the Q Racing Nitro Funny
Car started this weekendšs Pontiac Performance NHRA Nationals at National
Trail Raceway in the 14th slot.

Tough track and weather conditions made it hard to get a handle on
Pedregonšs Q Racing machine. The Chino Hills, Calif., driver talked about
what lies ahead for Saturday.

ŗWešre trying to match the clutch up with the tricky conditions,˛ Pedregon
said. ŗIt looks like wešre going to have much better weather tomorrow and we
should be ready for it.
