Standard Parking Adds Dodger Stadium to Its Sports Parking Portfolio
CHICAGO--May 2, 20050, 2005--Standard Parking Corporation , one of the nation's leading providers of parking management services, announced today that Transpark, LLC has selected it to manage various parking-related functions at Major League Baseball's Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The two-season contract, which started this season, includes responsibility for assorted functions associated with this facility, ranging from cash collection and parking pass verification to the provision of employee shuttle services.Standard Parking was selected from a number of national and local parking firms that submitted bids to operate the parking facilities at the newly renovated stadium. "This contract award reflects Transpark's confidence in our premier training and revenue control programs and builds upon our successful experiences operating sports stadium parking across the country, including U.S. Cellular Field and the United Center in Chicago and Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio," noted Ed Simmons, Executive Vice President for Standard Parking.
