Navistar to Announce Second Quarter Earnings, File Form 10-Q on June 9

WARRENVILLE, Ill.--May 1, 20059, 2005--Navistar International Corporation , the nation's largest combined commercial truck, school bus and mid-range diesel engine producer, said today that it plans to announce second quarter earnings and file its Form 10-Q on Thursday, June 9.

On that same date, the company will hold a live audio web cast at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time, to discuss financial results and business highlights for the second fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2005, and the outlook for the remainder of the year. The company intends to release its second quarter earnings news release on Business Wire approximately three hours in advance of the call.
