GMAC / Trenton Forging #5 GTO Mid-Ohio Pre-Race Report
Hayner ready to pick up where he left off at Atlanta

Detroit - May 17, 2005 The #5 GMAC Commercial Finance / Trenton
Forging GTO, driven by Stu Hayner, heads to Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course
in Lexington, Ohio for the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT
race presented by Trenton Forging Quality Formed Solutions. The
series is running as part of the American Le Mans event May 20-22.
The World Challenge events will run Saturday and Sunday and air on
SPEED Channel Saturday, May 28 at 3pm and 4pm.

“The SPEED World Challenge Weekend presented by Trenton Forging
Quality Formed Solutions is an exciting event for us,” commented
Autosport Development and Trenton Forging owner, David Moxlow. “Our
customer base is very strong here in the Midwest. We have 300 or more
guests joining the team along with our friends from Motorsports
Ministries and Sports Car Revolution for the weekend festivities. We
intend to make them all big fans of the SPEED World Challenge Series
and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course!”

“We’re really hoping to do well this weekend,” commented driver, Stu
Hayner. “This is a big weekend for our sponsor, Trenton Forging.
We’ve got a lot going on. Not only is Trenton Forging the title
sponsor for the weekend, but, as David said, we are entertaining a
lot of folks from GMAC Commercial Finance, Trenton Forging and PR
Machine. We intend to show them a great time.”

“We made a lot of progress with our run at Road Atlanta last month,”
continued Hayner. “It was good to get a full race under our belt and
be able to shift our focus to the car set-ups and performance. We
think we’ve made some gains since then… especially in the handling
department. The guys have made some changes to the car that will give
us a lot more adjustability in the spring rate and help to better
balance the car. Those changes will ultimately allow us to get more
aggressive with the car. We feel our speed is good. We just need to
be able to get in and out of the corners with more predictability.
It’s really starting to come along.”

“The team did some testing with Jim Osborn in the car last week,”
Hayner went on. “They came back very encouraged with the changes and
Jim was excited to get some seat time in the car.”

Osborn will pilot the #7 GTO slated to debut next month at the
Cleveland Grand Prix. Osborn’s Chili Pepper Racing team is one of the
more popular teams in the World Challenge Touring Car division and
widely recognized for their charity work in the medical field. Osborn
currently drives the #24 Remote Area Medical / Children’s Hospital /
Trenton Forging BMW.

In other activities, Hayner and Osborn are taking time out to pay a
visit to patients being treated at the Columbus Children’s Hospital.

“It’s great to get to do this,” commented Osborn. “It’s nice to meet
the patients and their families. You realize that it’s pretty much
impossible for many of them to attend a race. So it’s always a
pleasure signing autographs and talking about our cars and racing.”
