Three podiums for 3-S Go Karts in SRFKC season opener
Juliana Chiovitti and Kenny Riedman lead team to podium finishes at Goodwood

GOODWOOD ONTARIO   3-S Go Karts had a solid outing in the first weekend of 
the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star 
Wheels. The team collected three podium finishes, two by Kenny Riedmann 
(second in Formula Junior, third in Canada Junior Heavy) and Juliana 
Chiovitti was third in the headline Formula Senior class.

Riedmann had his best race in Formula Junior, where he raced his way up the 
grid to finish second, then was in a titanic battle in Canada Junior Heavy, 
where he also finished on the podium.
In Formula Senior, Chiovitti had the fastest time in the first of the two 
qualifying sessions, but had to settle for third on the grid after the 
second session. "It will be a long race, but I'm ready," Chiovitti said on 
the grid before the feature race on Sunday. Chiovitti held third for the 
entire distance to score a solid podium finish.

Of the other team members Cale Meeks was fifth in Formula Senior, Richard 
Boake was eighth, Adam Kretschmer was 12th, Curtis Fox 13th and Chris 
Trombly was 16th.

Anthony Furfari qualified seventh in Canada Junior Light and put in a good 
effort to come home fifth in his first SRFKC race.

3-S Go Karts will host round two of the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting 
Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels at their Sutton, Ontario 
facility in two weeks time.
