Pope Benedict XVI's Car is Now Officially in the Hands of GoldenPalace.com!

The recent eBay auction win by online casino GoldenPalace.com is easily one of the most popular events in Internet history. The item that shattered all eBay records, by incredibly receiving over 8.5 million visitors to its auction page, was Pope Benedict XVI's previously owned 1999 Volkswagen Golf.

On Wednesday, GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe formally presented a cheque to the seller, Benjamin Halbe, for 188,938.88 euros (approx. $244,590.83 USD) live on the popular German television show Stern TV.

Today, the GoldenPalace.com worldwide charity fundraising tour kicks off in Cologne.

GoldenPalace.com CEO, Mr. Richard Rowe will accompany the car on the morning of the first tour day.
