Exide Technologies' Poland Plant Earns Q1 Designation
ALPHARETTA, Ga.--May 1, 20058, 2005--Exide Technologies (www.exide.com), a global leader in stored electrical-energy solutions, announced today that its Centra manufacturing plant in Poznan, Poland, has received the Ford Group Q1 Award.Exide Centra earned the Q1 designation by meeting the required Supplier Metrics over a specified period of continuous supply to Ford plants in Europe.
"This award means that Exide Centra is now an approved supplier to Ford with 'preferred status' and it positions us for further growth in the European OE sector," said Rodolphe Reverchon. President - Transportation Europe.
