Oshkosh Truck Appoints Robert Cornog to Board of Directors

OSHKOSH, Wis.--May 1, 20057, 2005--Oshkosh Truck Corporation announced today that Robert A. Cornog has joined the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Cornog is the retired chairman, president and chief executive officer of Snap-On Incorporated.

Cornog held the position of chairman, president and chief executive officer at Snap-On from 1991 to 2001, before becoming chairman from 2001 to 2002. He joined Snap-On in 1991 after serving in a variety of executive positions with MacWhyte Company beginning in 1969.

Cornog serves as a member of the boards of directors of Johnson Controls, Inc. and Wisconsin Energy Corporation / Wisconsin Electric Power Company. He has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of science degree in metallurgical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
