Jeep(R) Brand Kicks Off Memphis Belle Barnstorming Tour of Major U.S. Air Shows May 20 at Andrews Air Force Base, MD

WHAT: Jeep(R) brand presents the Memphis Belle Tour at Andrews Air Force Base, located in Prince George's County, MD. The Memphis Belle B-17 Flying Fortress bomber is arguably the most famous aircraft in U.S. military history. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to take a rare look inside this WWII legend. The event includes a Joint Services Open House Air Show (JSOH) that is expected to attract more than 200,000 spectators. This is the first of a five-city tour for the Memphis Belle.

During the three-day event, the giant aircraft will be surrounded by a Jeep vehicle display, e-photo opportunities for show-goers, as well as a full WWII display celebrating Jeep vehicles' military history. Product specialists will be on hand to answer questions about Jeep vehicles.

  *  McGuire AFB Air Show, Trenton, NJ - June 3-5
  *  Great State of Maine AFB Show, Portland, ME - Sept. 10-11
  *  Little Rock AFB Show, Little Rock, AR - Oct. 8-9
  *  Seymour Johnson AFB, Raleigh, NC - Nov. 5-6

WHO: Available for on-site interviews and event tours will be executives from Chrysler Group and The George P. Johnson Company, the global event marketing agency for the campaign's strategy and management.

WHEN: Friday, May 20, Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., all three days. The JSOH Air Show is open only to Department of Defense and schools on Friday, May 20.
