Metaldyne New Castle Holds Open House May 21
Community Encouraged to Attend the Festivities
PLYMOUTH, Mich., May 16 -- Metaldyne New Castle will host an Open House on Saturday, May 21, 2005. The event will be open to the public from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at Metaldyne New Castle, 1817 "I" Ave, New Castle, Ind. 47362.
This community event includes plant tours and family activities such as children's games, clowns, classic cars, cotton candy, popcorn, candy and more. Also included will be product, historical and UAW displays.
"This event is a key milestone for Metaldyne New Castle," said Al Malizia, vice president of operations, Metaldyne New Castle. "Since the acquisition of the New Castle facility last year, Metaldyne has achieved a great deal of success at this plant. The business model is working here at New Castle, and we look forward to sharing this celebration with the community."
No bricks from the Maxwell building will be available at this event. Bricks will be distributed at a later date, to be announced in The Courier Times.
