Curomax Expands Sales Staff to Further Enhance Presence in the United States

Michael Hutchison is the new area sales manager for the South Central, Southwestern and Midwestern regions of the United States. Within these territories, he will be responsible for introducing the Curomax multi-asset finance portal and establishing and managing relationships with the dealer network to increase Curomax usage, penetration and revenue results.

Hutchison has a significant background in sales, general management, indirect finance, product management and business development. Prior to joining Curomax, Hutchison served as the vice president, director of Vendor Management for Dallas, Texas-based Citigroup. As vice president he created and managed the centralized vendor management department, successfully increased cash recoveries by 47 percent and reduced overall servicing costs by approximately $.5 million. During his tenure at Citigroup Hutchison held executive positions in the Delinquency Management Group, Transportation Division and the Marketing and Sales Department. He began his career as a regional sales manager for the Associates Insurance Company.

Hutchison holds a bachelor of arts degree in business finance with a minor in marketing from Austin College.

Daniel Jardin, regional sales manager, is responsible for the territory covering Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama. He will be responsible for introducing the Curomax multi-asset finance portal to the region as well as building and maintaining relationships with the dealer network to further increase presence in the marketplace.

Jardin brings to Curomax a strong marketing and sales background, experience in developing client relationships and fostering client market share. Prior to joining Curomax, Jardin was a client relations specialist with Coral Gables, Fla.-based Road America Motor Club, where he maintained client satisfaction by handling customer complaints, instituted profit programs and administered special discount offerings. He also oversaw the implementation of aftermarket programs for the dealer services division and created customized roadside assistance solutions. He began his career as an account executive and recruitment-advertising specialist for Boston, Mass.-based Mass High Tech. While at Mass High Tech he increased executive recruitment advertisers by 200 percent.

Jardin holds a bachelor of arts degree in American studies with a minor in marketing from Stetson University in De Land, Fla.

Kathy Fairbanks, regional sales manager, is responsible for the Northwestern region focusing primarily in Northern California, Oregon and Washington state. Fairbanks will be responsible for enhancing Curomax's presence and establishing and managing relationships with the dealer network in this region.

Fairbanks has nearly 20 years of sales and management experience in the fleet industry. Prior to joining Curomax, Fairbanks worked with GE Fleet Services, where after the acquisition of CitiCapital Fleet Services, she was helped transition the existing sales force into new roles in GE Fleet Services. During her tenure at CitiCapital Fleet Services she served as the vice president, New Business Development-West, where she was responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and motivating the Western United States sales team. Her regions averaged an annual regional growth of 11 percent in vehicles on bill and a 36 percent growth in service additions. She also served as a district sales representative, responsible for sales and marketing efforts in Northern California, Washington and Oregon, where she focused on profitable, long-term growth of the client and prospect base. Fairbanks also spent time in the customer service area where she was responsible for client service at a regional level.

Fairbanks holds a bachelor of science degree in transportation from Indiana University. She has received many professional achievement awards from CitiCapital Fleet Services including sales manager of the year, salesperson of the year, top achiever club winner and million-dollar club winner.
