Hodnett Wins Second of the Year in Sprint Car Action at SSP

NEWBERRYTOWN, PA (May 12, 2004) – Greg Hodnett of Memphis, TN becomes the
first repeat winner in Sprint Car action at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on
Thursday evening. In other action, Larry Hughes Jr. won the Xtreme Stock Car
feature and Michelle Miller defeated Tracy Miller and Mike Miller in the 5-lap

Hodnett started 8th in the 25-lap Sprint Car feature event, and immediately
began working his way toward the front. Cory Haas took the early lead from
the outside front row, but spun in the first turn of the second lap turning the

never shake Heimbach, who likewise had his hands full with Jeff Shepard.
They finished in that order, with Lance Dewease just edging Fred Rahmer for
fourth spot. Rounding out the top ten were Doug Esh, Jason Johnson, who started
last, Johnny Mackison Jr., Alan Krimes and Cilff Brian. Heats went to Esh,
Hodnett, and Shepard, with Brian Leppo taking the consolation win.
