Greg Biffle Tames Darlington to Continue Sensational Season

DARLINGTON, S.C.--May 1, 20051, 2005--Greg Biffle received a boost in both the Cup and Busch Series point standings this week after first and fourth place finishes, respectively, over the weekend at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina. Biffle is one of NASCAR's biggest rising stars in 2005, and carries several new sponsors in both series. He is currently ranked 3rd in the Nextel Cup and 9th in the Busch series standings.

In last Friday's Diamond Hill Plywood 200, Biffle led the pack nearly 50 laps, and used an aggressive pit strategy to drive to a fourth place finish in the No. 66 Duck Tape(R) brand sponsored Ford. Duck(R) brand duct tape, a staple tool in racing to help make quick and dependable repairs, became the first duct tape company to have a primary paint scheme, and is part of a first-year sponsorship between Henkel in North America, Biffle and Brewco Motorsports.

The Darlington race was the second of Henkel's five primary sponsorship positions on Biffle's car during the 2005 Busch Series season. In addition to Duck(R) brand duct tape, several other Henkel Group brands including Dial(R) soap, Renuzit(R) air fresheners, Armour Star(R) meats, Dep(R) Sport hair gel, Purex(R) laundry detergent, and Loctite(R) adhesives are participating in the sponsorship, which includes an associate sponsorship for 23 races. The participating Henkel brands will rotate primary positioning on Biffle's No. 66 Ford Taurus at races in Darlington, S.C., Phoenix, Ariz., Richmond, Va., and Watkins Glen, N.Y.

Driver Greg Biffle has earned three Nextel Cup wins in 2005, the most recent of which was the Dodge Charger 500 at Darlington Raceway. Biffle also has one win and four top-five finishes in the Busch Series, where he took the checked flag in Phoenix at the Bashas' Supermarkets 200 in April.

Duck(R) brand duct tape (www.ducktapeclub.com) is developed and marketed by the Henkel Group's North American Consumer Adhesives Businesses. It is the leading brand of duct tape in the US, offering 19 different colors from black to Blaze Orange at stores including Wal-Mart and Lowe's nationwide.
