Infinity Property and Casualty Holds Annual Meeting of Shareholders
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 11, 2005 -- Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation today announced that at the company's annual shareholders' meeting on May 10, 2005 four directors were re-elected to the board. Other actions taken at the Annual Meeting included approval of the company's non-employee directors' stock ownership plan and ratification of Ernst & Young LLP as Infinity's independent registered public accounting firm.
Re-elected for two year terms were Jorge G. Castro, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer for Valenzuela Capital Partners; Samuel J. Simon, General Counsel, Executive Vice President and Secretary for Infinity; Roger Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Infinity; and Gregory C. Thomas, Retired Chief Financial Officer of Citicasters, Inc. Each of the re-elected directors joined the board during 2003.
