Airgo Systems, LLC based in Edmond, designs and manufacturers automatic tire inflation products for the commercial trucking industry. Founded by CEO Tony Ingram, the company worked extensively with commercial trucking industry fleets to develop a precise understanding of how existing commercial tire inflation systems met or fell short of industry demands. Based on this in-depth, hands-on research, Airgo Systems' engineers raised tire inflation and safety to the next level by designing the AIRGO(R) System -- the most technologically-advanced, effective, and reliable automatic tire inflation system available.
Patrice Douglas, vice president, SpiritBank & head of the Economic Development Authority in Edmond nominated Tony Ingram for Oklahoma's Innovator of the Year for 2005.
"When SpiritBank moved to Edmond I met with various business owners, including Tony," said Ms. Douglas. "He provided me with a tour of Airgo's manufacturing plant and overview of the AIRGO System. Tony is extremely knowledgeable of the trucking industry and its legislative issues, he's in-tune with the challenges his customers face, he maintains a pulse on his competition, and has a crystal-clear vision for the future of Airgo Systems. This focus and drive is quite impressive for a start-up company."
