The ParkerTech Racing Services team is looking to build on their success at the recent Indianapolis Raceway Park NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series race. Driver Danny Townsend qualified number one, then clicked off consistent runs to claim top speed, low e.t. and Winners Circle honors. After just two races, Danny and the VIPsports.com Dodge Stratus Top Alcohol Funny Car are leading in NHRA Division 3 TAFC points, number two in the Jeg's Allstars TAFC standings and tied for thirteenth in NHRA TAFC National rankings.

The first race for the VIPsports.com Stratus was in Gainesville, Florida, where NHRA's National Dragster wrote of it: "On top of being a threat to go rounds, the entry could certainly contend for best appearing car." That recognition, now backed by the team bringing the threat to life, will make the VIPsports.com car a highly visible target for the entire TAFC field. However, the team plans to ensure that the competition sees only a very fast and very quick VIPsports.com target.
