Shane Hmiel about Richmond International Raceway:
“I’m always look forward to going to Richmond because I love
short track racing at night. It seems like all of your senses are heightened and
it reminds me of short track racing on the weekends when I was growing up.
Richmond is a great track that always provides good, hard competitive racing. I’
ve always run well there, but we never seem to finish up to our potential.
Hopefully we can turn it around this weekend with the WINFUEL Chevrolet and get
back on track with a top-five finish.??

Hmiel about the #32 WINFUEL team’s preparation for Richmond:
“We had a good, productive test at Richmond with the WINFUEL
Chevrolet last month. We weren’t very good when we unloaded, but my guys worked
hard and we were able to hit on a good set up before we left. If we can unload
as good as we were at the end of the test, I think that we will definitely be
in contention for the win. I will be very disappointed if we don’t end up
leaving Richmond with a top-five. This WINFUEL team has had a hard time the past
couple of weeks, between getting caught up in wrecks that we’re unavoidable at
Phoenix and Talladega, and having tires problems because we missed the set up
at Darlington. Hopefully, we can turn it all around this weekend and get back
to finishing up front like we are capable of.??
