Oxlo Systems' Dealer Communications Hub Extends Into Financial Acceptance Networks

Agreement Between Oxlo Systems and RouteOne Part of Emerging Trend

BROOMFIELD, Colo., May 10 -- According to industry experts and observers, the retail automotive industry has long been hamstrung by a fragmented approach to technology that has created a diversity of systems that many see as complex, difficult, and expensive to maintain and extend. The concept of a Dealer Communications Hub, or DCH, has been embraced in recent months because it provides a common approach for the industry's many IT systems to communicate.

According to Oxlo Systems, the leading DCH solutions provider, a DCH offers a win-win-win for OEMs, dealers, and dealer system providers (DSPs). For OEMs and dealers, a DCH promises reduced costs and improved efficiencies because it eliminates the need to use multiple IT systems to complete a single business process, such as a credit application. For DSPs, a DCH removes the overhead of multipoint integrations and allows them to focus on developing the features and benefits that drive the value of their products.

Demonstrating the growing interest in DCH as a uniform integration, Oxlo Systems, Inc., today announced that it will integrate its AutoTPX(TM) DCH with RouteOne's Credit Application Management System (CAMS). Jointly owned by DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motors Acceptance Corporation, and Toyota Financial Services, RouteOne's credit application management system allows dealers to send and receive credit application information over the Internet.

"Single point integration enables a rapid transformation of the way cars are bought, sold, serviced, and financed," says Jim Lejeal, CEO of Oxlo Systems. "Today's announcement means that dealers will be able to spend less time interacting with technology and more time focused on creating the best customer outcomes."

"RouteOne and Oxlo share a belief that eliminating technology barriers allows dealers to focus on creating happy customers and easier, lower cost sales," says Mike Jurecki, CEO of RouteOne. "Tying RouteOne to more dealer systems through Oxlo's DCH will help dealers serve customers more efficiently and effectively."

As a result of this agreement, Oxlo will enable DSP partners to tightly integrate their products -- through the AutoTPX DCH -- with RouteOne to automate the submission of consumer credit applications. Oxlo is the first DCH provider to offer FAN, DCS, and DMS integration, which means that DSPs can integrate once and receive the benefit and leverage of multiple integrations as a result. And, dealers will benefit from being able to use their preferred IT systems, pre-integrated to their key business partners.
