Yana K Runway Show Will Close Mercedes Benz Atlanta Fashion Week

LOS ANGELES, May 9 -- One of LA's hottest fashion designers, Yana K, will be the finale on May 13, 2005th, the ultimate day of Atlanta's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, clearly a case of saving the best for last! Megan Good will be the celebrity guest runway model, and the show will feature five Yana K collections -- "Dari" cotton collection, "Lari" upscale collection involving silks and chiffons, "Vini" vintage remake collection, "Lexi" knit collection including sexy knit bathing suits, and Yana K's collection of one-of-a-kinds "Anastasia."

On the runway, a rainbow of color and materials will feature pieces such as the Giselle dress, a Yana K bestseller with vintage bodess, form-fitting at the top, opening down into a free-flowing aline skirt. Another extreme attention-grabber will be the distinctive vintage remake that reads "Aged to perfection" on the front with a uniquely tattered back made most provocative by what is not there! Newest edition to the "Dari" pant collection will be the new doby Capri pants, cut a bit like clam diggers with a looser fit, and accented at the top with lace.

Just 21-years of age, the talented namesake responsible for these creative designs reflecting what's being worn right now on red carpets and in the sceniest hotspots globally shares her praise of Atlanta's market and surrounding region, "Atlanta is very hip, very in-the-know as far as what's hot and what's in, just like New York and LA, and Atlanta likes to try new things and set new trends."

Yana K's upcoming show will be part of the first Atlanta Fashion Week hosted by Mercedes Benz. Yana K will be the youngest designer showing all week, and the only female designer showing that day, which happens to be Friday the 13th. Yana K will be celebrated with a private celebrity-hosted VIP reception following the show.
