F.O.E. Sponsors Braun Racing's #32 WINFUEL Chevrolet Driven by Shane Hmiel
GROVE CITY, OH (May 6, 2005) — The Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.)
announced today that it has entered into a marketing partnership with Braun Racing.
The F.O.E. will serve as an associate sponsor of the #32 WINFUEL Chevrolet
driven by Shane Hmiel in the 2005 NASCAR Busch Series.
"A relationship between NASCAR and our members is an ideal fit," said Wayne
Clark, Chairman of the Board of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. "The NASCAR fan
base shares many of the same values of family, patriotism, goodwill and
spirituality as our one million members. We feel the increased exposure at NASCAR
events will increase interest and membership in the F.O.E. and our charitable
work."
The F.O.E. logo will be emblazoned on the deck lid of Hmiel's car throughout
the season, which runs through November. The logo appeared on the car for the
first time on April 16 at the O'Reilly 300 NASCAR race at the Texas Motor
Speedway, where Hmiel won the Busch Pole.
Braun Racing is a family-based team that originated in Winmac, Indiana, but
is now located in Mooresville, NC. Shane Hmiel, driver of the #32 WINFUEL
Chevrolet, is one of the hottest young drivers on the NASCAR circuit. To illustrate
their support of the F.O.E.'s commitment to helping people, the Braun Racing
team has agreed to make a $50,000 donation to the Eagles Memorial Foundation.
"The F.O.E. embodies the true spirit of America and the majority of its
members are great fans of NASCAR," said Todd Braun, owner of Braun Racing. "We are
proud that our #32 WINFUEL Chevrolet prominently features the Eagles and we
feel that our relationship is truly a winning combination."
