LAND ROVER CANADA ANNOUNCES 2004 RETAILER OF THE YEAR

BRAMALEA, ON, May 6, 2005 - Land Rover Canada recently named Decarie Motors the 2004 Retailer of the Year.

The Retailer of the Year is awarded to retailers who demonstrate excellence in sales and service satisfaction. Selection criteria are carefully chosen so that all retailers can be considered regardless of the retailer size or location and include. They include year-over-year sales growth, achievement of new and pre-owned sales objectives, market share, sales and service satisfaction, and feedback from the customer relations centre.

"It is a challenge choosing just one of our dedicated and skilled retailer partners as retailer of the year," said Vic Bernardini, president of Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "We have an outstanding network of retailers, and this year, Decarie Motors rose to the top.

Joel Segal, dealer principal of Decarie Motors has been a Land Rover retailer for over 25 years, and learned about the car business from his father, Moe Segal, who started in the industry as a Land Rover retailer in 1946. Joel and his brother Bruce took over in 1990 when Moe retired.

"I feel honoured to accept this award on behalf of my dealership," said Segal. "I am proud of my team and how committed they are to superior customer service and honoured to be chosen as retailer of the year from such a distinguished set of peers."
