SASSELLI TIES WIN RECORD SATURDAY; CALIFORNIA DIRT FOCUSES PLAY TWICE THIS WEEKEND

Audra Sasselli of Fresno, Calif. tied Denise Bennet on Saturday as USAC's
all-time female feature victor and took the California Ford Focus Midget Car
Series point lead in the process at Ventura, Calif.

Sasselli, who now has three USAC feature wins – all of which have come in
Ford Focus competition – won the 20-lapper and now leads Robbie Whitchurch
by four points going into this weekend’s festivities.

Trailing Sasselli’s No. 17 David Zoriki-owned Clawson Motorsports-Myrel
Sasselli Custom Hay Roadsiding Stealth/Ford Focus were Rob Kershaw, Jet
Davison, Keith Janca and Chase Barber. Bobby Michnowicz, who led the points
going into the race, dropped to eighth after not competing in the race.

Sasselli, who also leads the California Ford Focus Pavement Series, leads
the dirt-track contingent Friday to Watsonville (Calif.) Speedway and
Saturday to Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. It will be the first trip to
both tracks for the series this season.
