America's Car-Mart Announces Opening of New Dealerships
BENTONVILLE, Ark., May 2, 2005 -- America's Car-Mart, Inc. today announced the opening of two new dealerships located in Jefferson City, Missouri and Jackson, Tennessee. The total number of Car-Mart dealerships is now 78.
"The Jackson, Tennessee, dealership adds the state of Tennessee to the states in which we operate dealerships," said T. J. ("Skip") Falgout, III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of America's Car-Mart. "We feel that Jackson will be a good market for us, based upon its population base and customer demographics, which are consistent with many of our better performing markets. In addition, Jackson's close proximity to our eastern Arkansas and southern Kentucky dealerships makes it a natural fit for our management of that region."
"The new dealership in Jefferson City is our seventh in Missouri," added William H. ("Hank") Henderson, President of America's Car-Mart. "We expect to continue opening additional lots in Missouri during Fiscal 2006, expanding our existing presence in the state."
