Goodyear Announces First Quarter 2005 Earnings Release, Conference Call

AKRON, Ohio, April 29 -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company will report first quarter 2005 financial results after market close Wednesday, May 4, 2005, to be followed by an investor conference call at 9:00 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 5.

Participating in the conference call will be Robert J. Keegan, chairman and chief executive officer; Richard J. Kramer, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Darren R. Wells, vice president and treasurer. They will review Goodyear's first quarter results.
