DENSO Announces Management Changes

Changes affect Board of Directors, Auditors and Managing Officers

TOKYO, April 27 -- DENSO Corporation today announced plans to change its board of directors, corporate auditors and managing officers. Changes will take place after the annual shareholders meeting on June 22.

New Directors appointed to the Board:

Akihiko Saito, Vice Chairman (from Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Corporation)

  Michio Fukuzaki, Senior Managing Director (from Managing Officer)

  New Corporate Auditor:
  Tsutomu Saitoh, Corporate Auditor and Attorney-at-law

  New Managing Officers:
  Shohei Ito, Managing Officer (Corporate R & D Department)
  Yoshikazu Makino, Managing Officer (Corporate Planning Department)
  Mikio Kumano, Managing Officer (Electronics Product Division)
  Akio Tajima, Managing Officer (Human Resources Department)
  Yasushi Yamanaka, Managing Officer (Thermal Systems R & D Department)

  Board of Director, Auditor and Managing Officer retirements include:
  Hiroshi Uchiyama (from Senior Managing Director)
  Satoshi Watanabe (from Senior Managing Director)
