Bristol, Tenn. (April 27, 2005) ­

 
* Tony Pedregon, the 2003 Funny Car champion, heads to Bristol Dragway this
weekend for the sixth race on the NHRA POWERade series schedule. Pedregon
will race his ŒQ¹ Racing Monte Carlo Nitro Funny Car during the fifth annual
O¹Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.
 
* El campeón de Funny Cars, Tony Pedregon, se dirige al Bristol Raceway este
fin de semana para competir en la sexta carrera de la NHRA POWERade series.
Pedregon conducirá su auto ŒQ¹ Racing Monte Carlo Nitro Funny Car durante el
quinto campeonato anual de los O¹Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.
 
* In the four years the series has been racing a national event at Bristol
Dragway, Pedregon has been the top qualifier twice (2003, ¹02), and also has
the track elapsed-time record at 4.765seconds set in 2003.

circuito Bristol Raceway, Pedregon se ha clasificado en el primer lugar dos

* This is the second year that Tony Pedregon will race in Bristol as driver
and car owner. ³This year we have team continuity,² said Pedregon. ³We¹re
still a young team, but we¹re much farther ahead and been able to get better
as a team.² 
        Pedregon is also pleased with the way the car is performing. ³The
car is good, we¹ve proven it can perform well and now we need to focus in
consistency,² added Pedregon.

 
* Éste es el segundo año que Tony Pedregon compite en Bristol como piloto y

* So far this year, Pedregon has qualified in the number one position in
Pomona, Calif. and Phoenix. He also broke the elapsed-time record at Pomona
Raceway with a 4.681-second pass at 323.35mph. And in Chandler, Ariz.,
Pedregon broke Firebird International Raceway¹s elapsed time record at 4.703
seconds. Pedregon heads to Bristol12th in POWERade Funny Car points with
214.

número uno en Pomona 1, Calif. y Phoenix. También ha batido el récord de
