NSA Architects/Engineers/Planners Formally Brands New Name

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--April 25, 2005--The architectural engineering firm of Nordstrom Samson Associates, has announced that it is formally adopting the new name of NSA Architects/Engineers/Planners.

"Since our firm changed ownership in the late 90s, we have gradually transitioned the name change to ensure that clients and colleagues were comfortable with our new identity," said Frank A. Ray, AIA, president and CEO of NSA. "As we celebrate our 45th anniversary, it's appropriate to recognize contributions of the company's founders Richard Nordstrom, RA and Edward Samson, PE, and at the same time, to highlight the achievements of our current ownership."

The full-service firm now employs more than 60 people with an experienced track record on a diversity of projects throughout the Midwest.

Ray added that to keep the firm from being lost in an alphabet soup and to emphasize its full range of capabilities, NSA would keep Architects/Engineers/Planners associated with the name.
