AIAG AutoTech 2005 Combines Industry Leadership Conference Day with Full Schedule of Educational Sessions
DETROIT, April 25 -- Long considered the most relevant conference in the automotive industry, AIAG AutoTech 2005 will feature a comprehensive program united by the theme "Streamlining the Industry." In its 18th year, AIAG AutoTech will run Aug. 29, 2005 - Sept. 1, 2005 at Cobo Conference Center in Detroit.
AIAG AutoTech 2005 is the venue for suppliers of all tiers to receive the latest source of supply chain information on industry guidelines, standards and initiatives for reducing cost and complexity, as well as an introduction to emerging technologies. And it's where collaboration between OEMs and suppliers is showcased through educational sessions, product/service exhibits and demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
Monday kicks off the program with AIAG's new Industry Leadership Conference day targeted at executives interested in hearing from prominent industry heavyweights who will address concerns, issues and trends that will impact the future of the automotive industry.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be devoted to the traditional educational sessions that have made the conference so popular over the past 17 years, with more than 79 sessions being offered. Also, a continental breakfast featuring a panel of high-level OEM executives speaking on engineering product development and supplier quality will kick off both Tuesday and Wednesday. Town halls on customs, the environment, occupational health and safety and a health awareness day will run on Monday and Tuesday of the conference.
