Stoneridge Shareholders Elect Jeffrey P. Draime to Board of Directors

WARREN, Ohio, April 21 -- Stoneridge, Inc. announced today that Jeffrey P. Draime was newly elected to the Company's Board of Directors at its annual meeting of shareholders on April 18, 2005. Jeffrey Draime, 38, is the son of D.M. Draime, the Company's chairman.

Jeffrey Draime is owner of Silent Productions, a concert promotions company, and owner of QSL Columbus, QSL Dayton, a restaurant franchise. He was a North American sales manager for the Alphabet Group, a division of Stoneridge, from 1993 to 2000.
