Lexus Announces Details of Fuji Lexus College Training Facility

Tokyo (JCNN) - Toyota Motor announced on April 18 that Lexus has begun operating the Fuji Lexus College Training Facility. Established in March as a Lexus-exclusive training facility to develop the human resources, dealers and hospitality necessary to provide unparalleled after-sales service and purchasing, the college offers a program comprised of courses on customer interaction as well as lectures on product briefings directly from chief engineers and designers.

The program also features training on driving Lexus vehicles on the main Fuji Speedway course. The facility is one of the preparations for the launch of the Lexus brand in Japan this August.

Toyota will introduce Lexus with 2,000 Lexus dealer staff, including 1,000 sales consultants and 600 technical support staff.
