UGN, Inc. Names Cato Director of Human Resources

CHICAGO, April 18 -- Deborah Cato has been named director of human resources for UGN, according to Peter Anthony, president and CEO. In her position, Cato will use her 16 years of experience to oversee all human resources activities for UGN, including compensation and benefits, training and development, managing human resource systems, and long-range planning to support company objectives.

Prior to joining UGN, Cato was vice president, human resources for The McShane Companies. In her role, she was responsible for strategic creation, direction and success of McShane's national human resources program. She also has held human resources positions at BVM Olienti and Wegmans Food Markets.

Cato earned a bachelor of arts from The State University of New York Potsdam, Potsdam N.Y. Additionally, she has a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a certified human resource professional through Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
